The Emir of Mecca receives the head of the western sector of the electricity company
The Advisor of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques received the Emir of The Holy City of Mecca, His Royal Highness Prince Khalid al-Faisal, at the emirate’s headquarters in Jeddah, the head of the western sector of the electricity company, Engineer Abdul Salam Al Omari.
Prince Khalid al-Faisal was briefed on the electrical operational plan during this year’s Hajj season and new projects that have been implemented to enhance the reliability of the electrical service in Mecca and the holy feelings.
The plan includes providing more fuel sources for electricity than expected, and backup fuel sources, in accordance with pre-prepared alternative plans, in order to ensure the reliability and stability of electrical service in all locations throughout the hajj season.

Mecca will reach 4383 m, an increase of 2% over last year.
